Twenty-Two Taboos

There were 22 monsters that should never be provoked in the Greater God's Domain. Or, more specifically, there were 22 monsters that even Ancient Gods were helpless against, let alone players. When faced with these 22 monsters, even the various apex powers would have to run away. Thus, players called theses monsters the Twenty-Two Taboos, off which more than half were Mutants.

Abilities

In their current state, any one of these 22 Taboos was capable of single-handedly destroying an entire Realm. Many God’s Domains had also faced destruction at their hands.

Players that meet a Taboo Boss, and managed to avoid a permanent death, were cursed by it. In Shi Feng's case, he got the Undying Mother's Curse by accepting a quest to kill it (The Past World Quest).

Not even the power of Divine Artifacts could do anything about their curses.

Simply growing in levels and tiers wasn't enough for a monster to be considered a Taboo Boss. Only after a monster could cast a True World and gained a unique ability, such as the Undying Mother and its unique ability Undying, would they be deemed as one.

When subjected to the World Laws of a True World, players would be subjected to an all-encompassing suppression of 50% or more, regardless of their levels, equipment standards, or Law Projection standards. Even bona fide Ancient Gods were no exception. Moreover, this was only the effect of a True World's Basic Laws. A True World could have other effects depending on the Taboo Boss's level and the unique World Laws they mastered.

Strength Categorization

The Greater God's Domain's Twenty-Two Taboo Bosses were not equals. In fact, there was a huge disparity in strength among them. If one were to consider the 22nd-ranked Taboo to be only strong enough to give Ancient Gods a headache, the Undying Mother would be a disaster that could devour Ancient Gods.

Known Ranked Taboos

• 3rd Ranked - A Primordial First-Generation Hero that had slain multiple Ancient Gods in the past. The Grand Library also held records of multiple apex powers attempting to raid this First-Generation Hero, only to have their raid members granted a true death. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that nothing short of a Primordial God could defeat this First-Generation Hero.
• 14th Ranked - Undying Mother (Primordial Godkin, Divine, Level 245)
• Unknown Rank - A Gorgon Queen (Primordial Godkin, Divine)
• Unknown Rank - Unnamed, cursed Commander Red Frost.

The Twenty-Third Taboo

Status: Dead

Only a handful of powers knew that there were, in reality, twenty-three such monsters, not twenty-two. Only, the twenty-third monster had previously inhabited one of the Twelve Sanctuaries, so very few people knew about its existence.

That twenty-third monster was killed by a mysterious Swordsman, and those who knew about this Swordsman’s feat came to call her the Taboo Slayer.

In chapter 3412 (ch. 486 of Sequel), Laura Crader was suspected of being the long missing Taboo Slayer.
