Special Lifeforms were extremely rare in God's Domain. They were weapons the Gods had specifically crafted for war. Like puppets, they possessed eternal life and the power of immortality. Once killed they would resurrect and revive slightly stronger than before. The time it took for Special Lifeforms to resurrect is affected by how powerful they are. Generally, it only takes these Special Lifeforms ten minutes to resurrect, while some more powerful monsters take up to an hour[1]. Although they would provide EXP when killed[2], Special Lifeform monsters do not drop any loot. Because of these traits, players from the timeline of Shi Feng's previous life generally kept their distance, making them excellent guardians.[1] Special Lifeforms were very powerful, and were considered only inferior to Archaic Species.[3]
