First mentioned in chapter 2311, when Shi Feng had found the Blade Saint Tier 3 Legacy and was about to inherit it as part of his Tier 3 Promotion Quest.

Description[]

The Mana Body is the player's virtual body's Mana framework. It affects the way the player interacts with Mana and various other environments in God's Domain. The stronger a player's Mana Body, the greater their survivability in regions with a poor environment. The Mana Body also greatly impacts the recovery rates of both Stamina and Concentration. [1]

With a Mana Body, it will cause a layer of protective Mana to envelop the player's frame, making them less prone to physical injuries from ordinary attacks and increasing the recovery rate of physical injuries. [2]

  • For example, a Gold Mana Body provides high adaptability to maps with harsh environments, allows the player to restore their Stamina and Concentration by absorbing the Mana around them which is dependent on the Mana density (by about 30% to 60% faster). [3]

Improvements[]

Even though a Mana Body didn't provide players with any increase in Basic Attributes, it still influenced a player's performance heavily as it provided nonstatistical improvements such as increased Mana Perception, Recovery Speed and Physical Toughness.

Mana Perception[]

Mana perception played an important role in players' ability to manipulate Mana. Meanwhile, the better a player was at manipulating Mana, the higher their Skills' and Spells' Completion Rates would be.

Recovery Speed[]

The greater a player's recovery speed was, the quicker they could recover the Stamina and Concentration they expended in battle. This, in turn, would increase the duration in which they could stay in the battle.

Physical Toughness[]

Physical toughness affected a player's ability to withstand attacks. Although physical toughness wouldn't reduce the amount of damage players took, it reduced players' chances of suffering physical injuries. If a player had sufficiently high physical toughness, an attack that should've originally caused a heavy injury might only end up causing a light injury. This was a significant difference as a light injury wouldn't hamper a player's performance, whereas a heavy injury would. If a player sorely lacked physical toughness, they might even lose their limbs to a powerful attack, severely affecting their combat performance.[4]

Unlocking 100%[]

Once a player receives their Mana Body, they will slowly learn how to control the Mana within and unlock its potential. A Tier 3 player is considered official once they unlock 100% potential of their Mana Body. A player who has unlocked the potential of the Mana Body will be able to empower their Skills and Spells to greater effect and this extends towards the usage of tools which require the user to inject their Mana in.

However, 100% potential is not the end as players are able to break the limit and each percentage improvement after 100% brings greater improvement to the player and greater chance of promoting to higher Tiers.

The downside to a fully unlocked Mana Body is the rapid depletion of their equipment. Any equipment that is below Fine-Gold rank and below will not be able to endure the power of the Mana Body and become useless after the execution of one Skill or Spell. [5]

Mana Body Ranks[]

Mana Bodies can be categorized into ranks based on the Tier 3 Legacies that the player uses as the base for their Tier 3 Promotion Quest: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Epic [6] and Legendary (the last only in exceedingly special circumstances). [7]

When a player attempts to create the Mana Body, it creates a multi-layer magic array that surrounds them, This magic array represents the rank, with a single-layered magic array being Bronze, a two-layered magic array being Silver, and so on. [8]

Body Ranks Magic Array Layers
Bronze Mana Body One-layer array
Silver Mana Body Two-layer array
Gold Mana Body Three-layer array
Epic Mana Body Four-layer array
Legendary Mana Body Sixteen-layer array

Mana Body Standards[]

The players are also given three samples of Mana Bodies, each more complex than the last. The Mana Bodies that are displayed represent the standard of Mana Bodies:

  1. Basic Standard
  2. Intermediate Standard
  3. Advanced Standard
  4. Peak Standard

These standards also differ depending on the rank of the Mana Body. With the Basic standard of the Bronze-ranked Mana Body being the most basic and the Basic standard of the Epic-ranked Mana Body being more complex than even the samples from the Gold rank. [9]

A Mana Body needed to reach an 80% Completion Rate for it to function normally. Below 80%, a Mana Body would have its effects weakened. One with a 90% Completion Rate would be able to perform at 100% capacity, and every additional percentage gained in Completion Rate would improve the Mana Body's performance significantly.

Producing a Mana Body[]

In order to produce the Mana Body, players are required to create magic arrays, utilize divine runes and have refined Mana manipulation. Depending on the completion rate of the Mana Body, it would severely affect one's combat power and their control over their Skills and Spells. A poorly constructed Mana Body would result in low Mana conductibility and limit the ability to have a Skill Completion Rate higher than 90%. [10]

The higher the completion rate, the more powerful the Mana Body becomes with significant increases to Stamina and Concentration recovery, Defense, and self-healing capabilities. A Gold Mana Body with a 98% Completion Rate would even reinforce a player's control over their Mana allowing them to exhibit greater power with their Skill and Spells. [11]

Personalized Mana Body[]

To be promoted to Tier 5, players are required to create a Personalized Mana Body many times stronger than the Mana Body that they possess. Depending on the rank of the previous mana body, the percentage required changes. With a Bronze Mana Body, the percentage required is 500% and for a Gold Mana Body the percentage required is 300%.

Personalized Divine Body[]

The construction of a Divine Body was different from a Mana Body. The stronger a Divine Body a player desired, the stronger the Laws they needed to master to stabilize their Divine Body. [12]

World Laws played a vital role in determining a Divine Body’s Completion Rate and strength. The more World Laws a player mastered, the higher their Divine Body’s Completion Rate and strength would be. [13]

Typically, an Epic Divine Body required the mastery of one Advanced Law to stabilize.

Meanwhile, once a player constructed their Divine Body, it wasn’t as if they couldn’t change it. So long as they were willing to pay the price, they could reconstruct their Divine Body. Only, under normal circumstances, nobody would be willing to do so. After all, if a player’s Divine Body didn’t undergo a qualitative transformation, it wouldn’t affect their strength much. However, it would be a different story if a player could upgrade their ordinary Divine Body to a Superior Divine Body. [14]

Trivia[]

  • It was mentioned that in Shi Feng's previous timeline, Alice had been the player with the highest completion rate with a Gold Mana Body, constructing it with a 98% Completion Rate. This had allowed her to remain at the peak of God's Domain even after becoming a Tier 6 Mage God. She had been able to achieve a 100% Completion Rate with her Tier 3 Spells, allowing her to exhibit greater combat power. [15]
  • When Shi Feng fully unlocked his Advanced Epic ranked Mana Body via the use of Eternal Energy, it coated his body with a thin barrier of Mana that trapped a portion of the Mana radiating from him, thus reducing the Mana wastage. It also improved his recovery and ensured that the Mana around him was far denser than normal. When he tried to manipulate the Mana in his surroundings to his hand, it felt like a black hole had gathered around him and a faint layer of Mana mist had formed on his palms. [16]
  • The only way to acquire a Legendary Mana Body is to be the first person to acquire the Perfect Epic Demon God's Blood by ranking S-Rank while also taking no damage in the Colosseum challenge.
