First mentioned in chapter 3099 (Ch. 173 of Sequel).
Immortal Weapons and Equipment were incredibly precious in the Greater God’s Domain. They were much more durable than ordinary weapons and equipment, which would not only allow players to stay in combat for a much longer time, but also let players save on a hefty sum of repair fees. [1]
Unfortunately, few monsters dropped Immortal Weapons and Equipment, and players mainly had to rely on themselves to craft these items. However, the success rate of producing Immortal Weapons and Equipment at the Secret-Silver rank or above was incredibly low. [1]
Appearance[]
The dark-gray glow effect was unique to Immortal Weapons and Equipment, which were also the mainstream equipment in the Greater God’s Domain. [2]
Immortal Weapons[]
Weapons made using Black Iron were incredibly durable and had gained themselves a nickname since primordial times, Immortal Weapons.[3]
Only weapons made using Black Iron were tough enough to go up against Tier 4 Mythic monsters and above in the Greater God’s Domain. If a weapon wasn’t made using Black Iron, even an Epic Weapon would last no more than a fight when used against the Greater God’s Domain’s Mythic monsters. Afterward, it’d have to be repaired.
Immortal Equipment[]
In the Primordial God Graveyard, the Divine Graveyard Wanderers dropped Level 120 Immortal Equipment Sets pieces. Shi Feng obtained:
- over 800 pieces of Specter Set (Fine-Gold, six-piece set).
- over 200 pieces of Blazing Flame Set (Dark-Gold, eight-piece set).
Shi Feng maneged complete at least 100 Specter Sets used to equip the entire Zero Wing's main force and only one Blazing Flame Set that Shi Feng equipped himself.
A complete Immortal Equipment Set would generally grant far more Basic Attributes than the average equipment set of the same rank and level:
- Fine-Gold Immortal Set would grant Basic Attributes that were 10 (tem) levels higher.
- Dark-Gold Immortal Set would grant Basic Attributes that were 15 (fifteen) levels higher.
In other words, a Level 120 Dark-Gold Immortal Set would grant its wearer the Basic Attributes of a Level 135 Dark-Gold Set. If an ordinary expert obtained a Level 120 Dark-Gold Immortal Set, he could use it up to Level 150 without a problem. [1]
Repair Fees[]
Currently, a frontline expert would need to spend around 40 Magic Crystals per day on repair fees alone, while a 1,000-man frontline team would have to spend around 40,000 Magic Crystals in the Miniature Ancient World. However, if players could switch to using Immortal Weapons and Equipment, they’d only need to do some simple Mana maintenance to keep their gear at 100% effectiveness. In that case, they would, at most, have to spend one or two Magic Crystals a day. [1]
Because of the hassle and cost that came with maintaining ordinary weapons and equipment, Immortal Weapons and Equipment became highly sought after in the Greater God’s Domain. For example, so long as a Secret-Silver Immortal Weapon or Equipment wasn’t more than ten levels below the player’s level, any player would choose it over ordinary Epic Weapons and Equipment. [1]
Market Value[]
Even a Secret-Silver weapon made using Black Iron would be worth dozens of times more than an Epic weapon made without Black Iron. [3]
Any random Secret-Silver Immortal Equipment Set could be sold for an astronomical price. [2]
Even the more inferior Mysterious-Iron Immortal Weapons and Equipment could sell for a higher price than ordinary Epic Weapons and Equipment. In fact, Immortal Weapons were so rare that Level 150-plus Secret-Silver Immortal Weapons and Equipment could only be traded using the incomparably precious Seven Luminaries Crystals. [1]
Although the Fine-Gold and Dark-Gold Immortal Equipment the Divine Graveyard Wanderers dropped were Level 120, their value wasn’t inferior to that of Level 150 Secret-Silver Immortal Equipment in the slightest, due to its high Basic Attributes.
