The Greater World was a real world that Earth and many others parallel worlds will be gradually integrated into.
Whether a Guild could prosper in the Greater God's Domain depended entirely on whether it could establish a foothold in the Greater World.[1]
Introduction[]
A giant planet, thousands of times larger than the Sun with countless continents orbiting around it. These orbiting continents were of varying sizes, with the smaller ones being several times larger than Earth and the larger ones being hundreds of times larger. These continents were like arks that traveled the universe.[2]
The density of the continent’s air was less than 1% that of Earth, and its gravity was three times that of Earth. Many barriers could also be seen scattered across this continent, and many high-rise buildings and human beings could be seen within these barriers.[2]
This was the place where everyone would eventually go to live in the future. It was the place where people from many worlds converged. It was also the place where people from many worlds competed with each other for the right to live.[1]
According to the foreign players, although the Greater World was a vast world with technology far more advanced than what was available in their homeworld, there was very little space suitable for human life. It was especially true for living spaces like the Greater World’s cities.[3]
Description[]
Greater World was composed of numerous continents. For the average person, they would usually never leave the city they resided in, let alone travel to a different continent. But for those looking to travel to other continents, supersonic passenger planes were no longer sufficient. Instead, FTL (faster-than-light) passenger planes would be required.
However, FTL passenger planes were incredibly costly, and only the various conglomerates could afford to own such planes. Even then, they would be limited to owning only a few, and they would normally only use these planes for their own development purposes. Outsiders shouldn’t think of hitching a ride on a conglomerate’s FTL plane.
Towns[]
In chapter 3179, Breeze Wine mentioned that people from other Elementary Worlds can only start in third-tier to first-tier towns and rely on mining and collecting various cosmic resources to make a living,
People living in the Greater World’s towns could have an average life expectancy of around 200 years.
Town Tiers[]
- First-tier Town
- Second-tier Town
- Third-tier Town
Cities[]
The number of cities in the Greater World wasn’t even 1% of the number of towns.
The resources available in the Greater World’s cities were vastly superior to that of towns.
The average life expectancy in even the lowest third-tier city was 500 years and their bodies could also remain in peak condition for up to 300 years.[3]
Normally, unless one came from a world that had managed to establish a city in the Greater World, one would have to pay a certain amount of Contribution Points each month to stay in a foreign world’s city. The first month’s rent being free is t the greatest welfare offered by the God’s Domain Association to people entering the city for the first time.[3]
To be able to remain in the Greater World’s cities, the only options were to either become a Mental Strength Grandmaster or a member of the City Legion.[4]
City Legion[]
The Greater World’s various cities will hold simulation battles (known as city battles) to compete for the Greater World’s precious resources. These simulation battles will be held at three levels (Tiers 4, 5 and 6) and all participants must be under 50 years of age. In order to win these simulation battles, the various cities will form their own city legions to recruit and nurture young experts.[3]
In a third-tier city, the annual Legion Selection could select 1.000 members (100 official and 900 reserve). An official member would receive a monthly salary of 10,000 Star Coins.
In addition, official members had the qualifications to purchase a plot of land and own it until they passed away. With this land, they could open up a shop or build a home to live in without having to pay an exorbitant rent to the city. In addition, they could even invite up to ten people to become permanent residents of the city, which meant that they could pay their monthly Contribution Points fee in Star Coins instead. [5]
Example: Star Lake Legion.
