First established in chapter 1033, a Battle Arena was the only place players were allowed to fight inside a NPC Town or City.
Battle Arenas allow players to fight under equal levels and Basic Attributes. Once players lost a match, them were ressurected outside the ring, without suffering the death penalty (loss of levels and items).
The Battle Arena in a Basic Town had a total of five floors and one underground floor.
In an Intermediate Town, the Battle Arena could have up to eight floors.
In a Basic City, however, a Battle Arena could have up to 16 floors. Though, players had to have enough money to build them. [1]
Ranks[]
Basic Battle Arena[]
A Basic Battle Arena could allow players to fight under equal levels and Basic Attributes. After losing a match, players were ressurected outside the ring without death penalty or loss of items.
Advanced Battle Arena[]
- Four Empire's Underground Arenas - housed the Dark Arena competitions.
- The Stone Forest City's Battle Arena
In God's Domain, most Guild Cities would only have an Advanced Battle Arena.
The Advanced Battle Arena could accommodate about 200,000 to 300,000 people and allow players to fight under equal levels and Basic Attributes. It also offered players a combat environment that was more conducive to learning. The Battle Arena's owner could also host competitions that offered rewards to attract customers. [2]
Player-constructed Advanced Battle Arenas were much larger than Basic Battle Arenas, and they were actually larger on the inside than the building’s scale should allow. Advanced Battle Arenas also had higher Mana density than their Basic counterparts, allowing players to train their combat techniques more efficiently. [3]
Advanced Battle Arenas could also record and simulate combat techniques, which players could then learn from. Unfortunately, this function required a lot of Magic Crystals, and the stronger a combat technique was, the higher its cost would be. [3]
Peak Battle Arena[]
Coming after the Advanced Battle Arena was the Peak Battle Arena. This construction could only be found in the Holy Cities operated by apex powers and a few pseudo-apex powers. It could accommodate up to 500,000 people and allow players to fight a perfect simulation of themselves, letting them discover their flaws more easily.
Special Battle Arena[]
Flame Vein Battle Arena[]
The Flame Vein Battle Arena was Holy Dragon Spear adventurer team's most prized construction. This was because it was a Special Construction.
It was located in the heart of the Flame Vein Holy City in the Primordial Dragon Sanctuary.
The Holy Dragon Spear's Special Battle Arena was vastly superior to even the various apex powers' Peak Battle Arenas. In addition to being able to accommodate one million people, it could also let spectators experience fights from a first-person perspective. [2]
Security[]
The Battle Arena was the size of a town. It had over 30 entrances, each guarded by 100 members of Holy Dragon Spear, all fifth-floor experts at Level 220 or above. They were fully equipped with Legendary Weapons and Equipment, and the party leaders among them were even equipped with eight-piece Legendary Equipment Sets and Combat-ranked Secret Treasures.
VIP Seating Area[]
The VIP seating area was on the top floor of the Battle Arena. When the match began, the entire floor split into a hundred private rooms suspended above the ring. Occupants of these rooms could: [4]
- Overlook the entire arena through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
- Watch battles from a distance of 20 to 30 yards.
