Description[]

Ancient Fortresses are highly sought after by superpowers and Guild due to the ancient legacies that are stored within them. Tier 3 and higher legacies can be found in them, which would allow players to complete their Tier 3 Promotion Quests. There are also legacies related to Mana Body control that was left from the Great Destruction era. [1]

In order to capture an Ancient Fortress, one is required to secure the Fortress Lord's Mansion. In order to secure it, they would have to find the Fortress Lord's Token by hunting down the Guardian Bosses, and following that, they would have to pass the Legacy Trial. Large Fortresses would have Superior Mythics guarding them, whereas Medium Fortresses has a small chance of a Superior Mythic being the final Guardian Boss. [2]

The results of the Legacy Trial dictates the amount of control one would have over the fortress. The difficulty of the trial is dependent on the size of the fortress and could be any of the following levels: Normal, Hard, Hell, Asura or God. The more challenging the trial, the greater the reward, but clearing the trial would also require more players. All Legacy Trials also have a one-week cooldown. [1] Each Fortress Mansion also has its own Legacy Gate that contains its own Legacy left behind from ancient times, and is considered the most valuable treasure in a fortress. The Legacy is more complex than any Combat Techniques in the current era and comes in three ranks of Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Normally a Small Fortresses would at most have a Silver Gate, and Medium Fortress would have a small chance of having a Gold Gate. A higher ranked Legacy Gate might be hald to clear but would provide greater assisstance to player in learning how to control their Mana Body. [3]

Each ancient fortress has their own administrator which is also the true ruler of the fortress. Only if a player has the fortress's token and a mark from passing the Legacy Trial will be granted semi-control over the fortress.

Facilities[]

Each Fortress Mansion has their own Legacy Room which serves as the core of a Fortress Lord's Mansion and only players who have obtained the rights to control the mansion can use it. Moreover if the Fortress Lord has a Silver Mark, the room can be used 12 times a month and each player can only enter again after a natural month. Players would be able to train their Mana Body by experiencing its full potential for 5 minutes. [2]

Each Fortress Mansion has their own Mana Training Rooms, which is extremely useful to players in training their Combat Techniques and Mana Control. A Small fortress would have 32, a Medium would double that, and a Large would have 150 rooms. [2]

Small Fortresses have a restriction of only having one Temporary Residence. [4]

For Small Fortresses, a maximum of 20 Silver can be charged per entry. [5]

Unlockable Functions[]

Bronze Privileges[]

  • Fortress Prison - A special function available in all fortresses which is protected by an incredibly powerful defensive magic array that can even prevent Tier 5 players from entering. When the ruler of the fortress imprisons a player, they will have to fulfill their sentence or the prison itself is destroyed. Even if players kill themselves, they will respawn back in the cell. The maximum duration of imprisionment in a Small Fortress is eight days. [6]
  • Fortress Restaurant [6]
  • Fortress Hotel [6]

Silver Privileges[]

  • Manafication Tower - Increases the density of the fortress's ambient Mana. [6]
  • Object Creation Tower - A sacred training ground for Lifestyle Professions as it houses both Advanced Meditation Rooms and Intermediate Research Rooms. [6]
  • Summoning Tower - Normally a Gold Privilege in a Medium Fortress, but is a Silver Privilege in the Starlight Fortress. The tower can be used to summon creatures of a similar race from an appropriate medium. The stronger the medium, the stronger the summoned creature would be. Only one creature can be summoned in a month, and only one creature can be maintained at a time. [6] The summoned creature will follow a basic behavioral conditions that can be set by the Fortress Lord. It can be instructed to defend the Fortress Lord's Mansion and serves as a guardian beast for the fortress. [7] The summoned creature will be at the Lord's level and can be nurtured by feeding it resources. The more powerful it is, the more resources required to level up. A daily upkeep for a Tier 5 Demonic Creature is equal to an ordinary first-rate Guilld's total daily net profits. [7]
